I only knew Shulian for a very brief period when she recently helped with my MSc dissertation. She offered her time and guidance for no benefit of her own, but through simple kindness. Having read through these memories from others, it is clear Shulian was very kind hearted with all that she met. I am so shocked to hear of this news and wish her family comfort and strength.
